The Campervan is a versatile mobile base in Ardem, combining transportation, storage, and survival functionality into a single vehicle.
Designed for long-term exploration and self-sufficiency, it allows players to operate independently without relying on fixed bases. Players can use it as a mobile shelter, a storage hub, and even a portable power source for nearby structures.
Uses
Power & Base Integration The Campervan is equipped with a built-in generator that can be connected to nearby houses or player-built structures. By parking close to a power box, players can supply electricity to buildings, effectively turning them into usable bases.
Flood Lighting Players can attach flood lamps to the Campervan to illuminate dark areas. These lights draw power directly from the vehicle and can be adjusted in height, allowing for flexible coverage when camping in low-visibility environments.
Bed / Spawn Point The Campervan contains a bed that can be used to set a spawn point. Once claimed, the vehicle effectively becomes a personal mobile base where players can save progress and respawn.
Storage The Campervan offers a large amount of storage space, both internally and externally, making it ideal for hoarding supplies, gear, and resources during extended journeys.
Inside the Campervan, players have access to both a fridge and a freezer. These help slow down food spoilage, allowing for longer storage of perishable items, although food will still decay over time. While food storage extends shelf life, it does not completely prevent decay.
Useable Appliances The vehicle itself does include a built-in cooking stove powered by gas canisters. This allows players to prepare food without needing a campfire, making it a more efficient and convenient option while travelling. The Campervan also offers a fridge to store food, and a sink to access water from the built-in water tank.
